Embark on a wild journey starting at Km17, where the tropical evergreen forest welcomes you with the cool shade of giant Dracontomelon trees—so massive that 8–10 people can wrap their arms around them. The trail begins gently but soon challenges you with wooden ladders, sharp limestone ridges, and steep 80° slopes. In this untouched conservation area, wild boars and graceful deer may cross your path if fortune smiles on you.
After about two hours of trekking, you’ll reach the wild and majestic back entrance of Dark Cave Exit. There are many colossal rock slabs, torn from the cave ceiling by geological forces 400 million years ago, create a dramatic and awe-inspiring scene. Lush ferns grow year-round on the stalactites, painting the entrance in vibrant green.
After exiting of Dark Cave, you will follow a tranquil stream for 1.5km to E-Cave—Quang Binh’s most beautiful water cave—and enjoy a well-deserved lunch. Glide across the crystal-clear waters on a paddleboard or swim beneath sparkling stalactites. Marvel at the traces of ancient geological activity, from fossilized coral reefs to dramatic cave fractures.
• Participate in outdoor activities at the entrance of E-cave: swimming in the clear water, paddling SUP to enjoy the natural beauty. Or you can admire the vibrant underwater world with free diving or snokeling,…
